Ousmane Dembélé Transfer: Barcelona Star’s Release Clause Details Revealed

As the summer transfer window progresses, speculations surrounding the future of Ousmane Dembélé continue to fuel the rumor mill. The Frenchman’s release clause is at €50 million until July 31; afterward, it goes up to €100 million.

L’Equipe reports that if Paris Saint-Germain triggers the clause before August 1, the player will receive 50 percent of the fee, with the remaining 50 percent going to his current club, FC Barcelona.

Dembélé’s time at Barcelona has been marked by flashes of brilliance marred by injuries, leading to uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the Catalan club.

If the capital club pays the release clause, they must convince the player to head to France. Should Dembélé decide to continue his career in Paris, he will likely fill the shoes left behind by Kylian Mbappé. The 24-year-old has an uncertain future with one year left on his contract and Real Madrid rumors circling.

As the deadline approaches, all eyes are on PSG to see if they will make a move for Dembélé. If they decide to activate the release clause, it could pave the way for a high-profile transfer this summer.
