No Proposals for Mbappé Yet, Al-Khelaifi’s Words Hint at Real Madrid Swoop – Report

Paris Saint-Germain is yet to receive any formal proposal from another club regarding the future of their star player, Kylian Mbappé.

L’Equipe reported on Thursday that while the wait continues for Mbappé’s response, recent comments made by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi seem to indicate a potential inclination towards considering an offer from Real Madrid.

During Luis Enrique’s presentation as manager, the club chief was asked about the Frenchman’s future. Al-Khelaifi again maintained that if there’s no extension, the player will be sold this summer.

Nonetheless, Al-Khelaifi gave a deadline for when he’d want to resolve this situation. Speculation surrounding Mbappé’s future has been rife for some time now with the French forward.

A few weeks ago, the 24-year-old opted not to trigger his option to extend his contract until 2025. The lack of formal proposals does not necessarily mean the situation will remain static.

Transfer negotiations can be complex, involving discussions between clubs, agents, and players, often taking time to materialize. The absence of an official bid does not rule out the possibility of clubs, including Real Madrid, initiating contact soon.
