Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr. often looks to make his teammates laugh. The Brazilian’s latest example came Tuesday when he sent a heartwarming message to Sergio Rico.
As PSG prepares for the 2023-24 season, the capital club doesn’t forget about Rico. The backup goalkeeper continues to recover from his horse-riding accident in late May. As a result, the entire team and leaders took a photo as some held Rico’s jersey.
The Spanish international thanked the club for this gesture. Neymar did express his kindness to Rico, but the 31-year-old also took a friendly jab at the goalkeeper.
“We miss you my friend,” Neymar wrote in the comment section of the post. “Strength and come back quickly because I want to put goals on you.”
