Paris Saint-Germain is keen on a No. 9 this summer transfer window. The capital club is in the mix for several players to fill that role, one being Harry Kane. The rumor concerning the Englishman is moving in the right direction.
Should the French giants land the Tottenham Hotspur striker this transfer window, they might have to thank Lionel Messi. After Foot RMC notes that Messi whispered Kane’s name to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi during an end-of-season review between the two men.

The Argentine explained to Al-Khelaifi that he needed a playmaker profile at PSG to succeed in the UEFA Champions League. PSG has to replace the goal production left behind with Messi’s departure and the likelihood of Kylian Mbappé exiting too.
A recent report from L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi reveals that the capital club is making real progress in landing the 29-year-old.
Furthermore, Tanzi’s reporting discloses that football agent Pini Zahavi, who is close to both Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Daniel Levy, assists in facilitating Kane’s transfer to the Parc des Princes.
It will be interesting to see whether PSG does pull off the Kane transfer. Should PSG secure the Spurs star, it would bring them a world-class striker to Paris.
