The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga could be reaching its conclusion in a matter of weeks. Paris Saint-Germain wants to move off from the 24-year-old as he can leave as a free agent next summer.
While Real Madrid has leverage, the capital club wants to secure a respectable sum for their superstar. ESPN’s Rodrigo Fáez reports that the amount of money being considered by Real Madrid falls from €200 million to €230 million, making it one of the most expensive transfers in football history.

Real Madrid’s interest in Mbappé has been no secret, with the club longing to bolster their attacking ranks with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. Furthermore, ESPN’s Julien Laurens believes the transfer will get done this summer despite the saga dragging.
“A percentage I’d give that Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid this summer?” Laurens said. “I think right now, for me, it’s a 100 percent pretty sure he is going to go; that’s what everybody wants.”

If PSG can secure that sum, it would allow them to have funds to replenish the squad. Furthermore, the capital club is racing against time to land Ousmane Dembélé. The 26-year-old would be the ideal replacement.
These next few weeks will be crucial to see if all parties involved can reach an agreement that benefits all sides.
