What PSG Believes Is Fueling Kylian Mbappe Saga Amid Real Madrid Rumors – Report

The Kylian Mbappe era at Paris Saint-Germain could be reaching its end. After the capital club left the 24-year-old off their squad for the tour of Asia, the door is now open for a possible transfer.

PSG wants to secure a transfer fee for the Frenchman and not have him leave as a free agent next summer. Sky Sports News’s Kaveh Solhekol reports that the capital club believes Mbappe’s pursuit of money is fueling the transfer saga.

“PSG convinced it’s just about money for Mbappe now,” Solhekol said on Twitter. “If he stays in Paris just until next summer he picks up huge wages and bonus – more than £100m. Then next summer he can get £160m signing-on fee in Madrid as a free agent plus huge wages.”

The capital club is open to selling Mbappe to the highest bidder, which means all eyes are on Real Madrid. The Spanish club has long been interested in the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. Now would be their chance to bring him to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

However, Real Madrid faces competition from Saudi Arabia, at least for having Mbappe for the 2023-24 season. A recent report reveals that deal makers from the country would want to have the PSG star for at least one season.

As for PSG, they seem ready to move on from their hometown player and begin a new era under manager Luis Enrique.

  1. If PSG are letting Mbappe go, then it’s because they need enough money for the club. No club will allow a star like Mbappe go. At the same time it’s a good thing for Mbappe to explore in other clubs
