Harry Kane Transfer: German Media Speculates on Canceled Bayern Meeting

The Harry Kane transfer saga took another twist Friday. A flight that was supposed to take Bayern Munich bosses from Germany to London was canceled late Thursday night.

Kane, who has one year left on his contract, is the subject of various transfer rumors. Paris Saint-Germain has been in the mix for the 30-year-old, but Bayern Munich has led the race.

However, L’Equipe reports that following this canceled meeting has resulted in some media members in Germany believing that it’s due to another round of talks he has with PSG leaders.

The capital club will reportedly jump in the race for Kane unless talks with Bayern Munich fall through. If Spurs see that the Bundesliga side isn’t improving its offer to satisfy their asking price, they may want to see if talks with PSG put any pressure.

Nonetheless, The Guardian’s David Hytner reports that Kane doesn’t want to join PSG. Hytner adds that the Englishman prefers a move to Bayern Munich, so it’s just more twists to the saga.

Seeing how this saga turns out as the summer transfer window heads into its final month will be interesting.
