Paris Saint-Germain is keen on adding a No. 9 this summer transfer window. The capital club has seen its name in connection with various players, the latest being Atalanta BC’s Rasmus Højlund.
The Ligue 1 giants aren’t alone in the pursuit of the 20-year-old. Manchester United is in the running, and a recent report reveals that the Red Devils want quickly secure the Danish talent.
PSG has reportedly held talks with Højlund’s camp, causing the English club to act urgently. Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini addressed Højlund’s future, knowing clubs are lurking for the striker.
“I don’t know whether he’ll stay or leave — but I hope the club will value Højlund around €80, 90 or 100 million fee,” Gasperini told Sky Sports News. “Rasmus is one of the best — if not the best — emerging talent in Europe as a striker.”

Højlund is on PSG’s radar after RMC Sport revealed concerns that the capital club has over Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic’s health. The Serbian striker reportedly battles chronic pubalgia, possibly resulting in PSG pivoting to Plan B.
Whether it’s PSG or Manchester United, Atalanta likely expects a large sum from anyone who wins the sweepstakes for Højlund this summer transfer window.
