Atletico Madrid striker João Félix has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain for several weeks. However, a move to the capital club doesn’t appear to be the Portugal international’s next destination.
Spanish journalist David G. Medina reports that PSG has no interest in the 23-year-old. Furthermore, he adds that it is Premier League club Aston Villa who have emerged as the frontrunners in the pursuit of Félix.

Félix, who had a loan spell at Chelsea in the latter half of the 2022-23 season, already possesses Premier League experience. Aston Villa manager Unai Emery also has a connection to Félix, having coached against the player during his time at Villarreal CF.
As a result, it comes as no surprise that Aston Villa is keen on the former SL Benfica youth product. Meanwhile, PSG is currently looking at other options to fill their need for a new No. 9.
The loudest name is Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, so it seems the Ligue 1 has other targets that don’t seem to include Félix.
