AS Roma and PSG in Advanced Talks for Loan Deal for This Midfielder – Report

Paris Saint-Germain has a crowded midfield with their latest additions this summer transfer window. As a result, the capital club could see some players leave. Marco Verratti’s name is in the rumor mill, but Renato Sanches could join him.

French journalist Marc Mechenoua reports that discussions between the Serie A club and PSG are steadily advancing for a potential loan deal involving Sanches.

The Portugal international has reportedly consented to the move, indicating his willingness to go to Serie A. However, crucial points, specifically regarding the nature of the purchase option, still need to be finalized before the transfer can be completed.

AS Roma, eager to bolster their squad for the upcoming 2023-24 season, identified Sanches as a valuable addition. The Italian club will be playing in the UEFA Europa League, so depth is needed for their squad.

Sanches teaming up with Jose Mourinho might be what the midfielder needs to get back on track.

Furthermore, the 25-year-old will get playing time at Roma. The opportunity in the Italian capital will help him earn a spot on the Portugal national team for UEFA Euro 2024.
