Paris Saint-Germain could be a few hours away from landing FC Barcelona star Ousmane Dembélé. The capital club is taking advantage of the player’s release clause, which stands at €50 million until midnight Monday.
Barcelona is facing serious doubts about the future of Dembélé, and those fears might become a reality. Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reported on Sunday that the 26-year-old is giving the nod to join PSG.
The French winger’s decision marks a significant step in his potential departure from FC Barcelona. Furthermore, Aouna notes that an agreement has been reached between Dembélé and PSG until June 2028.

For Barcelona, the news of Dembélé’s agreement with PSG marks a significant blow to their squad planning. The Catalan club now faces the prospect of parting ways with a talented player who, despite injury setbacks, has shown immense potential during his time at Camp Nou.
Additionally, Barcelona won’t reportedly receive the entire €50 million for their star player.
Reports have revealed that if PSG successfully triggers the release clause, the player would be entitled to 50 percent of the fee, amounting to €25 million. The remaining 50 percent, also €25 million, would be paid to Barcelona.
