Why Thierry Henry Is Hesitate to Take PSG Assistant Gig, According to French Outlet

Paris Saint-Germain will likely have a new manager on the sidelines for the 2023-24 season. The rumor currently dominating the headlines is former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann coming aboard along with Thierry Henry.

Le Parisien reveals that the Arsenal legend still determines if he should join the capital club this summer. Additionally, the reporting explains that Thierry Henry, who is currently an analyst for Amazon and CBS Sports, is thinking because he would like to spend more time in England.

Henry’s family currently resides there. But this is not the only reason that would make the former France international hesitate about joining Nagelsmann’s coaching staff.

Le Parisien continues to explain that the French manager would rather see himself returning to a number one coaching gig rather than an assistant, which he did in the past with the Belgium national team, where he supported Roberto Martinez—a role he enjoyed.

But now, Henry, who has already the manager at AS Monaco and the Montreal Impact, would like to be a manager if he returns to the sidelines rather than a No. 2.
