Lionel Messi will become a free agent on June 30 and over the last few days, the rumor mill has been coming out with various reports. Nonetheless, FC Barcelona continues to play the waiting game for La Liga to give them the green light.
Spanish journalist Anaïs Martí Herrero reported Thursday that Barcelona believes they will eventually sign him if Messi continues to wait for them.

However, another report has revealed that the Al-Hilal offer to Messi has an expiration date, which is why the Argentine is deciding on his future while finishing the 2022-23 season.
PSG manager Christophe Galtier confirmed that Messi’s final match with the French giants would come against Clermont Foot on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
Although, the capital club did want to do damage control by backpedaling the remarks made by Galtier.
These next few weeks should be interesting to see where eventually the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner decides to continue his football career.
