Paris Saint-Germain might have moved quickly after news that Julian Nagelsmann wasn’t coming to the French capital. A follow-up report would reveal that three names were in the running; one of them is Luis Enrique.
According to PSG Community, Enrique is expected to be the next manager of the capital club. The Spanish manager will be in Paris in the next few hours to likely secure his contract.
Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna added to the report from PSG Community that PSG expected a definitive answer on Friday from Nagelsmann, who disclosed that he would not come to the Ligue 1 side.
Le PSG attendait une réponse définitive aujourd'hui de Nagelsmann qui annoncé ce soir qu'il ne viendrait pas… et il a aussi informé certains joueurs qui attendaient sa venue, qu'il n'entraînera pas Paris…

Additionally, Aouna revealed that the German boss informed some players waiting for his arrival that he will not be managing PSG. One player reportedly linked to the French giants as part of Nagelsmann’s arrival is Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard.
Nonetheless, with Enrique possibly taking over the managerial role at PSG, it seems a move for Pavard might be out of the question. If the 53-year-old does take over, it will be interesting to see what players he will desire that sporting advisor Luis Campos should pursue.
