Neymar Jr.’s future is becoming clearer, and it seems the 31-year-old won’t be leaving the French capital despite links away from Paris Saint-Germain.
L’Equipe reported on Monday that Neymar wants to stay with PSG where he would likely work with his former FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique. The Brazilian’s best years in Europe were under the 53-year-old, so it’s why he might want to stay.

Additionally, PSG would be open to Neymar staying, but that may depend on the future of Kylian Mbappé, the French star is linked to a move to Real Madrid. After the 2018 FIFA World Cup opted not to trigger his option to extend his contract until 2025, the Real Madrid rumors are heating up.
If Mbappé were to switch to the Spanish capital, PSG would be more than willing to keep Neymar as a pivotal part of their squad. With Mbappé’s potential departure, Neymar’s role would become even more influential, solidifying his position as one of the team’s key players.
The French media outlet adds that Neymar is expected to take part in the pre-season tour of Japan at the end of July. The Brazilian could return to Paris this weekend and begin his re-palletization before continuing collective training in mid-July.
