PSG’s Bold Move: Julian Nagelsmann Inching Closer Toward Agreement – Report

Paris Saint-Germain could be on the verge of having a new manager after the pending sacking of Christophe Galtier. L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi reported that the capital club officially told Bayern Munich they want to sign Julian Nagelsmann.

According to the French media outlet, the German tactician wants to join even without Thierry Henry coming aboard his coaching staff. The Ligue 1 side is holding several meetings to move the deal forward.

Nonetheless, Nagelsmann would still like to be assisted by a former French international. PSG has already begun making signings to their squad and not it’s crucial to have their manager position filled to determine where these players will fit tactically.

Whoever is behind PSG’s maneuvers to start the summer is off to a good start considering they want to ensure the capital club secures its targets and can begin their 2023-24 season without having any significant weaknesses.

The reigning Ligue 1 champions have succeeded with a German at the helm as Thomas Tuchel took PSG to the UEFA Champions League final in 2020, even defeating Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig.
