The focus is on Lionel Messi, but Sergio Ramos announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain as the 37-year-old’s contract with the capital club expires on June 30.
Achraf Hakimi had a connection with the veteran defender Ramos during his two seasons with the French giants. The 24-year-old right-back went on Instagram and published a touching message to the former Real Madrid captain.
“We are going to miss you so much brother, @sergioramos,” Hakimi wrote in an Instagram story. “Thank you very much for everything and good luck for the future!”

The defender did leave on a positive note, sort of, as Ramos scored a header goal in the 3-2 loss to Clermont Foot on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
Ramos will continue his career elsewhere even though it was recently reported that PSG wanted to keep the Spain international. However, both parties couldn’t find common ground, resulting in Ramos’ exit.
