Ramos joined PSG during the 2021 summer transfer window. The two sides reached an agreement on a two-year free transfer deal that did not include an option for a third year.
Injuries marred Ramos’ first season at PSG. Overall, he took part in a mere 12 matches in the 2021-2022 Ligue 1 campaign, and he did not play in a single UEFA Champions League fixture last season.
Ramos has managed to turn it around in his second year with the reigning Ligue 1 champions. He has played in 32 fixtures in Ligue 1 play, and he has put together multiple promising performances this season. For one, he starred in PSG’s 3-0 Ligue 1 away win over Marseille in February, where he recorded five clearances and two tackles.
Ramos will soon be on the lookout for a new home in world football. It will be noteworthy to see just which club ends up bringing him in on a free transfer deal.
