Marcus Thuram to PSG? The Latest on the French Giants’ Pursuit

Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos wants to go 3-for-3 on targeting soon-to-be free agents on July 1.

The capital club signed Milan Škriniar to a pre-contract and reportedly has landed Marco Asensio. They’ll now for Marcus Thuram. Relevo reported on Saturday that PSG is trying the most to convince the France international to be part of their project.

According to the Spanish media outlet, PSG faces competition from Atlético de Madrid and several Italian teams to sign the soon-to-be former Borussia Mönchengladbach star.

Campos and Co. must replace Lionel Messi’s production and possibly Neymar Jr.’s, as the Brazilian has been linked to a move to the Premier League. Nonetheless, it will come from several players rather than one.

Thuram appeared in 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and seven assists. During his time with the German club, which began in 2019, the 25-year-old scored 44 goals while registering 29 assists in 134 appearances in all competitions.
