Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market for a new striker this summer transfer window. The capital club has been linked to Napoli goal scorer Victor Osimhen; however, the Nigeria international might be the only target.
A Bola (h/t Paris Fans) reported that the French giants are keen on Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos. The 22-year-old is under contract until 2026 and has a €120 million release clause. Nonetheless, the Portuguese giants would be willing to settle for €80 million.
The reporting also reveals that PSG wants to start negotiations with Benfica to possibly land Ramos. The capital club will need to act fast as A Bola also reports that Manchester United is keen on the player.
Lionel Messi will be departing on June 30 when his contract expires; meanwhile, Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé have an uncertain future in the French capital, so PSG could have to replace the goal-scoring production for all three of their forward next season and Ramos is a good start.
