Paris Saint-Germain football advisor Luis Campos reportedly has an eye on multiple coveted playmakers for this year’s summer transfer window, including Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Silva, who has two more years left on his contract at Manchester City, has been linked with PSG for weeks now, and he is reportedly a top transfer target for the reigning Ligue 1 champions. From Silva’s standpoint, PSG is reportedly a “destination that he likes a lot.”
Silva and Aymeric Laporte have been teammates at Manchester City for the past six seasons. They each joined the Premier League powerhouse during the 2017 summer transfer window.
For Laporte, he is not taking a side on just what Silva should do regarding his club future, but he simply wants the best (via Le10Sport) for the Portuguese midfielder.
“With everything he’s given to this club, everything he brings to football, he should be happy and flourishing,” Laporte said after the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final. “We’d be very happy for him if he finds the best way to do that.”
Silva scored seven goals and featured in 55 matches in all competitions with Manchester City this past season.
