There’s a late twist in the ongoing Kylian Mbappé transfer saga. Real Madrid appears to be the only horse in the race for the Frenchman.
Francisco Buyo revealed on El Chiringuito that soon-to-be Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique holds high regard for Rodrygo. As a result, the Spanish manager would like to have the Brazilian.
Buyo noted that Enrique would be interested in including Rodrygo as part of a deal for Mbappé. However, the pundit did note that including the young forward would be challenging.
“Luis Enrique likes Rodrygo a lot and PSG would like to include him in a deal for Mbappé, but there is no possibility,” Buyo said. “Regarding a deal for Mbappé, Real Madrid will not exceed €150 million.”

Rodrygo, who joined Real Madrid in 2019, has shown flashes of brilliance and has a promising future ahead of him. His technical abilities, pace, and goal-scoring prowess might be why Enrique sees him in high regard.
While adding the 22-year-old would lower the transfer cost for Mbappé, it doesn’t seem Real Madrid wants to part ways.
Enrique’s interest in Rodrygo and the subsequent denial from PSG has added another layer of intrigue to the complex transfer discussions surrounding Mbappé.
Real Madrid has long had an interest in the French sensation, with rumors swirling about a potential arrival. Nonetheless, it’s just more information in this saga where many wonder where Mbappé will play next season.
