Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Lazio is expressing keen interest in securing the services of Paredes. This move aims to bolster Lazio’s midfield options. Additionally, PSG is willing to negotiate a transfer at a reasonable price for the Argentine.

Paredes spent the 2022-23 season on loan to Juventus, so perhaps playing in Serie A caught the eye of Lazio. Should the transfer materialize, Paredes would join a club playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
