Leandro Paredes will return to Paris Saint-Germain after his loan stint with Juventus expires on June 30. The Serie A side opted not to keep the player on a permanent deal and PSG doesn’t have the player in their plans.

AS (h/t TyC Sports) reported that Paredes is on Atlético Madrid’s radar as the Spanish club needs a midfielder to reinforce that place on the pitch.

Furthermore, the Argentine has played alongside Rodrigo De Paul, so there’s an understanding that he plays in the midfield. Other players from the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Atlético, such as Ángel Correa and Nahuel Molina, are also on the team.

The Spanish media outlet also revealed that given his position as the most defensive midfielder he has adopted recently, many consider him ideal for the capital club in Spain.

PSG seeks to get rid of the Argentine and since his contract ends in 2024, he could become a new Colchonero player for less than his real market value.
