Kylian Mbappé’s Desire for Real Madrid Move Stalls, ESPN Reports

Kylian Mbappé’s potential move to Real Madrid has been a subject of intense speculation and interest in the football world.

Despite publicly expressing his desire to play the 2023-24 season with Paris Saint-Germain and honor the final year of his contract, ESPN is reporting a different story behind the scenes.

ESPN reported on Monday, citing sources, that the 24-year-old wants to sign with Real Madrid this summer.

Additionally, PSG would like to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year. Real Madrid is willing to take considerable action to see Mbappé lead their attack alongside Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo.

While the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner reportedly claims to want a move to the Spanish capital, there has yet to be any notable progress.

Mbappé announced on June 12 that he had informed PSG that he would not be triggering an option to prolong his contract beyond 2024, and neither he nor Real Madrid has made strides to ensure the wheels for a transfer get started.

Mbappé’s prowess, exceptional goal-scoring ability, and age have made him one of the most sought-after talents in football. Real Madrid, known for their history of acquiring top-tier players, have long been linked with a move for the French forward.
