Paris Saint-Germain wants to bolster its backline this summer transfer window and have its eyes set on a potential target, Jean-Clair Todibo.
Foot Mercato reported (h/t Paris Fans) on Thursday that PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos recently met with the representatives of Todibo.
The profile OGC Nice defender appeals to Campos and represents everything Luis Campos now wants to see in Paris: a young French international with an attractive margin of progression.
As for the cost, the French media outlet doesn’t reveal the asking price that the Ligue 1 side will demand from clubs for the 23-year-old. Transfermarkt has Todibo’s value at €30 million, but that price could go up with Premier Leagues sniffing around.
Todibo began his professional journey with Toulouse FC before making a high-profile move to Barcelona in 2019. Although his time at Camp Nou was relatively short-lived, Todibo showcased glimpses of his defensive prowess during loan spells at Schalke 04 and then with OGC Nice.
