Inter Miami is one of the clubs in the Lionel Messi sweepstakes as the MLS side looks to beat out Al-Hilal and FC Barcelona for the Argentine player.
Nonetheless, Inter Miami sporting director Chris Henderson was asked about the possible arrival of Messi this summer and the club chief didn’t offer anything the reporters can with.
“I’m not getting into specifics of players who are not on our roster,” Henderson said.

The MLS side has reportedly presented an offer to Messi. The South Florida club is even going further to ensure that the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner successfully adapts to the league.
A report from SPORT revealed that Inter Miami is keen on bringing Gerardo Martino to take the reins of the squad. Furthermore, there’s an already established relationship with Messi as he’s coached the Paris Saint-Germain star at the club and international level.
It will be interesting to see if this will be enough to convince Messi to cross the Atlantic Ocean and continue his football career in the United States.
