Paris Saint-Germain looks to be pulling all the strings to ensure they land Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez this summer transfer window.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that the capital club would insist on the 27-year-old as the target in the next week.
Furthermore, Romano notes that the former Bayern Munich board, with Hasan Salihamidzić and Oliver Kahn, wanted to keep the player and had no plans to negotiate. Still, with their exit, the situation feels different now.
Romano finally notes that discussions between Hernandez and PSG are well advanced. Nonetheless, the same cannot be said between the capital club and German giants.

PSG’s 2022-23 season ended with a 3-2 loss to Clermont Foot on Saturday at the Parc des Princes. The Ligue 1 champions limped to the end of the finish line. Now sporting advisor Luis Campos and Co. can begin gutting and molding the squad to compete domestically and internationally.
Hernandez would fill a need at the left-footed central defender position as Presnel Kimpembe will be out to start the 2023-24 season due to an Achilles injury and his contract also expires in 2024.
