The Lionel Messi saga appears to be ending in the coming days. FOX Sports Argentina’s Veronica Brunati revealed the latest regarding the 35-year-old’s future after she detailed what occurred during Jorge Messi’s meeting with Joan Laporta.
Brunati notes that although Barcelona makes a formal offer to Messi, he is still a PSG player. He cannot sign with the Spanish club or any club until July 1. By FIFA regulations, the veteran can negotiate a pre-contract right now. Nonetheless, she reveals that Messi intends to go on vacation with his future resolved.
Messi will visit Rosario in Argentina for a few days, then vacation in Europe. If the agreement with Barcelona were to arrive, he would have to travel on July 19 with the team to the United States.
