Inter Miami is prepared to pull on the stops to have Lionel Messi join the MLS club this summer. The Argentine’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on June 30 and he can sign anywhere as a free agent.
As a result, Diario Olé reported on Friday that the South Florida-based club believes that bringing players such as Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets can convince the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner to come to the United States.

Alba and Busquets are possible targets Inter Miami can land this summer, as both will be free agents. However, Suárez might a more complex target considering the veteran goal scorer is currently playing for Brazilian club Grêmio.
Nonetheless, even if they land two of the three players, perhaps it’s enough of an enticing destination for Messi—additionally, Inter Miami plots to land Gerardo Martino as their manager.
Martino has a connection with Messi after coaching him at the club and international levels, so it makes sense to hire him as the Argentine gaffer knows MLS and can help the PSG star adapt to the league.
