Paris Saint-Germain will have several players returning from their loan deals this summer. However, one player that has created a market for himself is Mauro Icardi.
The Argentine left at the very last possible moment last year to join Galatasaray. Nonetheless, the 30-year-old rediscovered his past form while in Turkey. As a result, the Turkish club is attempting to act fast to keep Icardi on a permanent deal.
Galatasaray vice president Erden Timur admitted that keeping the veteran goal scorer is challenging for the team.
“We all want Icardi to stay,” Timur said. “It won’t be very easy. There are important teams that don’t have strikers and the reality of Saudi Arabia. We are doing everything we can.”

"Nous voulons tous qu'Icardi reste. Ce ne sera pas très facile. Il y a des équipes importantes qui n'ont pas d’attaquants et la réalité de l'Arabie saoudite. Nous faisons tout ce que nous pouvons."🗣️

Icardi played a vital role in helping Galatasaray win the 2022-23 Süper Lig title. The PSG striker scored 23 goals and registered eight assists in 26 contests in all competitions.
Furthermore, there’s reported interest from Serie A as AS Roma is linked to Icardi, who has experienced success playing in Italy. It will be interesting to see where the Argentine plays next season, whether he remains in Turkey or proceeds to go elsewhere.
