AC Milan Out? Report Reveals What Could Derail Interest in PSG Target Marcus Thuram

Marcus Thuram will officially be a free agent once his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach on June 30. The 25-year-old will also reportedly decide on his future relatively soon.

If reports are to be believed, the decision is likely between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. However, Sky Sports’ Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Saturday that the Serie A side could see Thuram’s wage demands be too high for them.

Di Marzio notes that the France international could be eyeing a €6 million per year salary. Thuram’s a free agent, so if there’s a bidding war for his services, the forward knows he can set his salary price.

A recent report by L’Equipe revealed that Thuram desires to play in the French capital, which is home to him, due to the challenge of winning there and the presence of Kylian Mbappé, who lobbied strongly for his teammate on the France national team.

Thuram appeared in 32 contests in all competitions for Mönchengladbach, where he scored 16 goals and registered seven assists this 2022-23 season.
