Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé briefly discussed his future when L’Equipe asked about his current contract situation. The France international reportedly declined his option to extend his contract until 2025.
Despite the 24-year-old committing to the 2023-24 season, it did open the possibility of Mbappé leaving. As a result, the Spanish media jumped through that hole and El Chiringuito asked him about possibly joining Real Madrid soon.
“I’m here to talk about the Trophies; I’m not going to say anything more,” Mbappé replied first in Spanish.

Afterward, the Paris Saint-Germain star elaborated further in French to state that he’s not talking about his future even though that’s a topic of discussion for many in the media.
“I’m here to talk about the trophy; what happens elsewhere is none of my business,” Mbappé said. “I said that next year I will play at PSG, I still have a year of contract, I will honor my contract.”
