If Neymar Jr. is to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer transfer window, the 31-year-old’s wages will make it impossible for him to go elsewhere.
L’Equipe reported on Sunday that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola contacted Neymar.
The Spanish manager wanted to know the Brazilian’s state of mind considering he coached the player and is currently rehabbing a season-ending ankle injury.

While Guardiola wanted to see how his ex-player was doing, there’s little chance of seeing Neymar sign with Manchester City. Over the last few weeks, the PSG star has been linked to a move away but nothing concrete.
Neymar reportedly ruffled some feathers within PSG after going to Sunday’s Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco.
PSG Manager Christophe Galtier commented on the Brazilian’s commitment to the team by telling reporters that he was having issues moving around due to his injury.
As a result, it will be interesting to see if PSG can offload the player this summer since it would be best for both parties to split.
