Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos could be heading to the drawing board with the midfield. The Portuguese club chief might be eyeing a defensive midfielder as PSG has struggled to replace Thiago Motta.
French media outlet Sports Zone reported on Saturday that midfielder Manuel Ugarte wants to exit Sporting CP this summer transfer window. Various clubs are eyeing the 22-year-old, so there will be a bidding ward for him.

According to the information, Ugarte’s agent, Jorge Mendes, would like to place him at Liverpool, where he would join his compatriot Darwin Núñez, who also came from Portugal to the Premier League.
Furthermore, other Premier League clubs, such as Aston Villa and Chelsea, follow the player to a lesser extent. Outside of England, Sports Zone cites Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, who appear to be following the player from afar.
Ugarte has a contract until 2026, so Sporting isn’t letting him leave without receiving an amount that justifies a sale. As a result, the Portuguese side wants any interested club to pay €60 million, which is the sum on his release clause.
