Lionel Messi might break the hearts of FC Barcelona supporters, who recently chanted his name during a Coldplay concert on Sunday.
Foot Mercato reported on Monday that while Messi hopes to join the Spanish club, the Argentine’s camp has already accepted an offer from Al-Hilal.
According to the French media outlet, Messi will receive a two-year contract worth €1.2 billion and the biggest commission in history. The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will make €600 million per season.

A recent report from Mundo Deportivo revealed that while 2022 FIFA World Cup winner doesn’t want to wait for Barcelona to receive the green light from La Liga on their financial package, which isn’t guaranteed.
Messi waited for most of the summer in 2021, so it makes sense that the Paris Saint-Germain star, whose contract expires on June 30, doesn’t want to experience that situation again.
It seems as though the veteran wants his future figured out to start the summer and if Barcelona continues to wait, then the possibility of a storybook return to Camp Nou will have to be postponed.
