Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. has an uncertain future with the capital club. On Monday, a report from L’Equipe revealed that Manchester United has begun talks to bring the 31-year-old to Old Trafford.
However, ESPN’s Mark Ogden also reported on Monday that the current Manchester United regime, likely the Glazer family and those they have put in charge, aren’t pushing for the Brazilian.
Manchester United aren’t pursuing a deal for Neymar. Not the current regime anyway.

As a result, if the information is accurate, it might point to Manchester United’s new owners pushing for a Neymar move as the Red Devils are in the process of being sold by the Glazers.
Furthermore, the report from L’Equipe notes that Casemiro is also playing a role in possibly landing his compatriot this summer. Neymar has been the subject of protest from supporters, as some even went to his home to demand he leave PSG.
Neymar is under contract until 2027 and while the French giants would prefer to offload Neymar via a permanent transfer deal, the club would consider discussions revolving around a loan agreement.
