Paris Saint-Germain will have several loanees returning after their deals expire on June 30. One player who the capital club will have to figure out his future is midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The 28-year-old spent the 2022-23 season with Juventus, but the Serie A side won’t keep the Argentine on a permanent deal. However, there is a market for Paredes.
Argentine journalist Martin Arevalo reported on Wednesday that Chelsea and Atlético de Madrid are among the European clubs eyeing the PSG midfielder this summer transfer window.

Moving to Stamford Bridge is an understanding destination since Mauricio Pochettino will take over the job and had Paredes while at PSG.
As for Atlético, manager Diego Simeone might be keen on bringing his Argentine compatriot and reuniting him with Rodrigo De Paul, who was on the 2022 FIFA World Cup-winning Argentina squad last December.
While Paredes doesn’t have a future in Paris, the midfielder doesn’t want to go back to South America, as he reportedly turned down a chance to return to Boca Juniors.
The Argentine club offered Copa Libertadores action to Paredes, but Arevalo notes that the PSG loanee believes now is not the right time.
