A recent report linked Paris Saint-Germain to Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. However, that all appears to be smoke and mirrors, according to the latest information out of England.
The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick reported on Wednesday that PSG is unlikely to be able to act on their reported Kane interest in the summer, even if Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. both leave as the Ligue 1 club is concentrating on cutting costs.

Kane has one more year on his Tottenham Hotspur contract but would still command a huge fee this summer, although the Premier League side has no interest in selling their striker.
Additionally, Kilpatrick notes that Manchester United and Bayern Munich keep tabs on the 29-year-old’s situation. Tottenham will not be playing UEFA Champions League football in the 2023-24 season, so it will be interesting to see if that might cause Kane to exit.
The England international is in the final years of his prime and will need to decide whether the project at Spurs is worth staying around or if it’s time to be a little selfish and push a move toward a club that can win trophies.
