Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has an uncertain future as the capital club reportedly looks for another manager for the 2023-24 season. As a result, the French tactician could be searching for a new job.
Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport reported that Galtier is one of the targets Napoli eyes to replace coach Luciano Spalletti, who looks to depart despite winning the league title.
Among the names cited along with Galtier are Antonio Conte (free agent), Gian Piero Gasperini (Atlanta) and Vincenzo Italiano (Fiorentina). Napoli wouldn’t be a high-pressure job like PSG and Galtier has performed well in those circumstances as he won the 2020-21 Ligue 1 title at Lille OSC.

Meanwhile, PSG could be eyeing a couple of managers in Serie A as AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked to the capital club. However, Francesco Totti doesn’t want to see the “Special One” go this summer.
“If it depended on me, it would be easier,” Totti said at the Internazionali d’Italia tennis tournament in Rome. “Let’s see what will happen. I don’t know what they said with the club, and I don’t know what will happen. They will decide the best solution.”
The other possible hiring the French giants might do is bring Thiago Motta back to the Parc des Princes. Motta has been gaining coaching experience over these last couple of years and right now has Bologna in 11th place.
