Mbappe’s Unreal Goals Feat That Even Cavani Did Not Achieve

Kylian Mbappe was on top of his game over the early stages of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 away fixture against Auxerre on matchday 36.

Mbappe scored a pair of goals within the first 10 minutes of the contest to provide PSG with an early 2-0 lead over Auxerre. The French forward’s double at the eight-minute mark of the match was all that PSG needed to clinch a third straight win in Ligue 1 play.

As noted by PSG’s official English-speaking Twitter account, Mbappe’s double after just eight minutes of play against Auxerre is the earliest brace scored by a PSG player in France’s top flight.

This sure is quite an accomplishment for Mbappe considering that even Edinson Cavani did not achieve this feat during his time at the club.

Mbappe has now tallied 28 goals in Ligue 1 play this season, and he holds a two-goal lead over Olympique Lyonnais forward Alexandre Lacazette for the top spot on this leaderboard. The PSG star will have an opportunity to reach the 30-goal mark this season in PSG’s Ligue 1 home fixture against Strasbourg on matchday 37.
