Liverpool, Man United and PSG Eyeing Torino’s Defensive Gem – Report

Paris Saint-Germain will look to revamp their central defense. However, their right-footed center-backs does appear to have depth.

Marquinhos has extended his contract until 2028 and Milan Škriniar will be arriving after his contract with Inter Milan expires on June 30. Nonetheless, PSG might eye another option with Sergio Ramos yet to sign a contract extension.

Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport (h/t FCInterNews) reported that Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG are keen on Torino’s Perr Schuurs.

Furthermore, the reporting reveals that all three European heavyweights would be ready to propose a €30 million bid for the former Ajax man. The 23-year-old has flourished in his first season in Serie A, so it’s no surprise various clubs are interested.

PSG might not be a viable option considering there are already three right-footed defenders if Ramos extends his contract for another season. However, the French giants want to play a three-center back system, so if Ramos doesn’t remain, it makes sense to go after Schuurs.

If Liverpool and Manchester United can promise the Dutch defender minutes as a starter, they might have the upper hand on landing the player this summer.
