FC Barcelona had one of the more explosive attacks with Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Despite the trio going their separate ways, they remain friends.
Although Neymar is recovering from a season-ending ankle injury, the Brazilian was in the stands to watch Paris Saint-Germain secure a 5-0 win over AC Ajaccio on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
Neymar had Suarez on a video call during the match, leading to the Brazilian sharing the moment on Instagram and the Uruguay striker replying with a heartwarming message to his former teammates.
“Always with you @neymarjr [and] @leomessi,” Suarez wrote. “Cracks on and off the pitch friends. To the greats, ALWAYS RESPECT.”
