It might be a one-and-done season for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabián Ruiz. The 27-year-old arrived in the French capital from Napoli last summer transfer window but could be heading to England.
Foot Mercato reported on Wednesday that Burnley makes Ruiz a priority of theirs to sign as they’ve earned promotion back into the Premier League. PSG will agree to part with him if there is a reasonable offer, but the Spaniard wants to stay in Paris.
PSG paid an initial fee of €21.5 million, so if they can get a significant sum and profit from what they paid, sporting advisor Luis Campos might have to listen and take the proposal.

Ruiz’s season has been a year of adjustment, but the midfielder has come alive as of late; these last few contests to close out the 2022-23 season. If Messi and Neymar Jr. do leave, it will allow for Ruiz to be more of an attacking player next season if he stays.
Nonetheless, if Burnley wants to overpay, it should be welcomed with open arms as Campos revamps the midfield.
