Achraf Hakimi’s Referee Criticism Sparks Zlatan Ibrahimović Comparison (Photo)

Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi received a red card for his second straight game during the 5-0 win over AC Ajaccio on Saturday night at the Parc des Princes.

After the 24-year-old was sent off, the Canal Plus cameras caught him calling out Ligue 1, saying, “This is France.” The remarks made by the PSG star had many remember what AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimović said.

Ibrahimović had a famous line in 2015 where the striker noted that France “don’t even deserve PSG should be in this country” during an outburst.

It will be interesting to see whether Hakimi will need to apologize for his remarks as the Sweden international did.

  1. He clearly does not need to apologise because that is actually what you are!! Deal with it and digest the message. Zlatan neither, but you just made it into big issue, by hook or by crook he needs to do it. Just like what you did to Messi. France actually love drama more than sports. You are loud with your critics but when your are the ones being slammed you couldn’t take it. Just like you never publish readers’ comments. Butthurt!
