Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has yet to decide on his future and while the Argentine takes his time, it isn’t stopping the news cycle from discussing where he’ll play in the 2023-24 season.
Nonetheless, while attending the 0-0 draw between Barcelona and Getafe on Sunday at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, club president Joan Laporta was asked about Messi returning.

Laporta didn’t waste time by giving a simple “yes” response to the question. There’s no question that the Spanish club wants to reunite, but the hurdle remains whether the financial side of football will allow them to facilitate a deal.
