Transfer News: PSG No Longer Following AC Milan’s €80M Goal Scorer, per Report

The striker appears to be the primary position that Paris Saint-Germain intends to reinforce this summer transfer window. However, one name seems to be out as the list of targets to help improve the position for the 2023-24 season, AC Milan’s Rafael Leão.

French football journalist Abdellah Boulma reported on Monday that the 23-year-old is no longer part of the targets followed by sporting advisor Luis Campos. Leão’s contract with the Serie A side expires next June and he recently changed agents as Jorge Mendes no longer represents him.

Furthermore, Le Parisien revealed too that the capital club has its eyes on two players to fill the striker role as Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani appear to be at the top of the list to replace Lionel Messi.

Campos needs to get the striker position right as it will cost the club a significant amount of money and perhaps the Portuguese club chief might not be keen on investing that amount in Leão.

There’s also the possibility that Leão might want a lucrative contract that he can obtain from a Premier League club. Meanwhile, PSG must be smart financially when giving out their contracts with Financial Fair Play monitoring their moves.
