Frenchifying Paris Saint-Germain could be the plan for sporting advisor Luis Campos this summer transfer window. The club chief might also improve the midfield and OGC Nice’s Khéphren Thuram, who checks both boxes.

Foot Mercato reported on Thursday that Thuram is on the list of players PSG intends to pursue. However, if the 21-year-old is a name the capital club wants, it will cost them significant money.

The French media outlet notes that Nice star could cost them around €60 million and PSG will also face competition for the midfielder. Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Manchester City appreciate the player, which is why the price is increasing.

Additionally, Thuram isn’t the only Thuram that PSG wants to reportedly land this summer as Marcus Thuram is the only player has their eyes on. Marcus is currently at Borussia Mönchengladbach but will become a free agent in June.

PSG does need to improve their forward group with the potential departure of Lione Messi and Neymar Jr.’s constant injury issues; the Ligue 1 side needs to add depth behind Kylian Mbappé for the 2023-24 season.

It will be interesting to see if the French giants can unite the two players in Paris. Along with the Nice midfielder, the Ligue 1 side is also eyeing his teammate Jean-Clair Todibo, who could fill the central defense need.

Campos could be lining up to raid Nice of two quality players, so it will be a situation to continue monitoring.
