Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos could be looking into the Brazilian market to help the capital club improve as he attempts to find diamonds for a reasonable cost.
One of the targets that Campos and PSG are reportedly keen on is Athletico Paranaense Vitor Roque. Regarding the possible cost for the 18-year-old, Mundo Deportivo reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that the Brazilian club is looking for €45 million.
Athletico Paranaense doesn’t have to sell Roque for anything less than what they desire, considering the striker is under contract until 2027. Additionally, there could be a bidding war for the teenager, which explains the asking price.
Joining Barcelona and PSG are Arsenal, Chelsea and Inter Milan and while the player prefers a move to Barcelona, the team’s financial situation might hinder their pursuit.
As a result, while the player wants a transfer to Camp Nou, he and his camp will not wait forever for the Spanish club to figure out the finances. If Campos can convince Roque and meet the price, a transfer might occur.
