Paris Saint-Germain will have its first match following the March international break on Sunday with a Ligue 1 home fixture against Olympique Lyonnais.
PSG last faced off against Lyon in September. Lionel Messi starred for PSG in the fixture, as he scored the game-winning goal of the contest and also created two goal-scoring chances for teammates.
Overall, PSG manager Christophe Galtier could select this starting 11 for matchday 29.
Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pereira, Mendes; Verratti; Ruiz, Vitinha, Zaire-Emery; Mbappe, Messi
Galtier could possibly call on his squad to play under a 4-1-3-2 formation against Lyon, with Marco Verratti taking hold of the central defensive midfielder role in this setup.
Sergio Ramos has been dealing with a calf injury as of late, and he was not included in PSG’s squad list for its upcoming matchup against Lyon. Thus, Galtier could end up penciling in Danilo Pereira to slot into one of the two starting center-back spots in his possible 4-1-3-2 formation on Ligue 1 matchday 29.
PSG is currently on a four-match unbeaten streak against Lyon in Ligue 1 play.
